SilverTree has the resources to support all the major software technologies, and we use the most appropriate tool for the job at hand.

But the software world is in transition as it moves rapidly to the "cloud" as companies realize the tremendous benefits of the on demand model.  SilverTree is at the forefront of this transition, leveraging the power of leading cloud-based application development and deployment platforms to build new, powerful solutions for your business.

In the cloud model, there is no software or hardware to install, implementations are much shorter, and upgrades and maintenance costs are non-existent.  And revolutionary new cloud-based application development environments add speed and flexibility to building applications never before possible.

This means that for the first time, software that was too difficult to write, too expensive to write and distribute, or too brittle or expensive to customize once deployed is now in reach.

The following describes some key cloud vendors we use:

Force.com is the fastest platform for building and deploying enterprise applications.  What used to take months can now be done in days or weeks.  Force.com speeds innovation through a powerful yet easy-to-use development model. Applications are assembled with clicks, components and code then instantly deployed to the salesforce.com infrastructure.  Force.com can be used to build core business applications, like enterprise resource planning (ERP), human resource management (HRM) and supply chain management (SCM).  It’s the fastest way to get from idea to app and running your business in the Cloud. Everyone knows Amazon as a great place to buy things online. What most people don't know is that Amazon's fastest growing business is the leasing of their infrastructure to run other companies software services. Think of it as the electricity company of computing power - just like you plug your electrical device into the wall, so you plug your software into the Amazon power plant. SilverTree uses the Amazon infrastructure for hosting applications. This way, we can rely on Amazon to take care of things like servers and backup and disaster recovery, as well as scalability, response time and availability.

Everyone knows the Adobe PDF reader. Adobe is also responsible for the technology behind those cool flash videos you see all over the Web. Now Adobe has extended Flash to a technology called Flex. Flex represents the future of the Web user interface, and is used to develop many SilverTree applications. This way we can rely on Adobe to ensure that your solution remains state-of-the-art in the future - without needing to re-program.

Google Apps provides professional email, tools for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, a shared calendaring system and access to a flexible intranet system. Google makes it easy to integrate these services with your custom applications.
